Here we'll explain how to play the Trials of the Slumbering Dieties, or Divine Trials for short, where every small decision could change how the battle ends!

What are the Divine Trials?

The Divine Trials are an event only available at certain times. Here, you'll fight slumbering dieties, and the point is dealing as much damage as you can within the time limit. To play them, you need items called Lifeblood Crystals.

In the Divine Trials, instead of rolling to hire soldiers as usual, you'll use "soul skills" (explained below) to summon soldiers and Einherjars.

What am I supposed to do?

Choose a soldier out of the three soul skills and start fighting.

You can choose one out of the three randomly selected choices, but when the fight is just starting, you can only use Beacon of the Brave, which lets you summon one of the soldiers you've already unlocked.

Some of the other soul skills include "Beacon of the chaos-rending heroes," which lets you summon dispatched Einherjars, and things like Time Distortion, that grant you buffs. Some of these buffs are things like increasing all of your soldiers' attack or increasing their weight. Choose the best skills you can and find the perfect strategy.

Deal damage to the deities to get gems!

① When you bring a diety's HP to 0, the boss level (shown on the left of the screen) goes up. When this happens, you will sometimes get gems as a reward.

ree

There are five different types of gems, with the ones on the right being more valuable. Dieties get stronger as their level increases, but they'll also give you more gems.

ree

② By dealing damage to the dieties, you'll also fill up the soul gauge, shown on the top right corner of the screen. When it's full, you'll go up one soul level and you'll be able to activate another soul skill to gain its effects.

ree

If you choose a soul skill you've already chosen before, that skill's level will go up, and its effects will become stronger. If the level rises high enough, that skill will become an "evolved skill," which is strong enough to completely turn the tables during a fight.

Enter a Zone to get going!

After some time has passed, the dieties will awaken! Their name will change and their attack power will increase. However, they'll also create a "zone" around them. Zones have different effects that influence your troops.

There are 11 different types of zones. Some examples are Hour of Rage, which increases the tap attack power, and Hour of the Hand, which increases the amount of souls you get by tapping. The zone you will enter is selected randomly, but they all have positive effects. Also, there are some items that will let you enter a specific zone.

Ending the fight and getting the rewards

When the time is over, the fight will end. Depending on the boss level reached and how much damage you dealt, you will get a certain "contribution" score and you'll be able to see how you ranked in damage, total play time, zones activated, used soul skills, and more.

You can then exchange gems for rewards. For example, you can get treasure chests with artifacts in them or the special "divine droplets" items you can get in the event shop. There are also some very rare artifacts that you could get your hands on...
